The Museo Novecento celebrates Valentine’s Day together with the Councilor for Cooperation and International Relations, fairs, congresses, territorial marketing, investment attraction, tourism of the Municipality of Florence, who will read some pages of her book The true story of my white hair, asking for analysis and comments on the different forms of emotional and sexual human relationships, on the limits and obstacles to sentimental sharing, on love practices, on laws and prohibitions.
In 1998 she was the founder of the Emily in Italy association, which aims to promote a greater presence of women in the country’s public life.
On the occasion of the meeting, the actor Roberto Visconti will read pages taken from Call me with your name by AndrĂ© Aciman which will be followed by lyrics by E.E. Cummings, Sandro Penna and Alda Merini, while Sergio Risaliti will illustrate some of the most famous ‘kiss’ images in the history of art from Giotto to Gustav Klimt, from Constantin Brancusi to Nan Goldin.

Roberto Visconti
He began his career at a very young age with the Theater Experimentation Laboratory directed by Luca Ronconi and then continued in the theater with Massimo Luconi, Giancarlo Cauteruccio and Carlo Lizzani. In the cinema he has worked, among others, with Giacomo Battiato, Franz Weist and Mel Gibson.
