The inaugural concert of the XIV ContempoArteFestival presents two premieres: an EC commission for string quartet and electronics, to Andrea Portera, young and already established, Tuscan composer, pupil of Salvatore Sciarrino, whose production has obtained acclaim and recognition; and a duo for violin and viola of 2015 dedicated to Duccio Ceccanti and Edoardo Rosadini by Ivan Vandor, an important composer of Hungarian origin who trained generations of talents at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia. Two famous compositions for string trio by Ludwig Van Beethoven complete the programme.
