On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Sunday, September 22 free admission to the Museo Novecento during the usual opening hours, from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm.
The public will be able to visit not only the permanent Alberto della Ragione collection but also the temporary exhibitions currently in progress. From in the twentieth century. From Modigliani to Schiele from De Chirico to Licini (until October 17), curated by Saretto Cincinelli and Stefano Marson starring a group of 42 drawings by Italian and foreign artists of the twentieth century, owned by the National Gallery of Modern Art and Contemporary of Rome in Solo. Gino Severini (until 10 October) curated by Lino Mannocci and Sergio Risaliti, a monographic that focuses on the Tuscan artist’s production dating back to the 1920s and 1930s.
And again Paradigma. The Architect’s Table by Laura Andreini, dedicated to the world of architecture, which (until 10 October) features the architect Adolfo Natalini and the myriad of drawings and sketches that accompanied him throughout his long and prolific career. The Room space is instead dedicated to the first solo exhibition in an Italian museum by the Chilean artist Sandra Vásquez de la Horra (until October 17), entitled Aguas profundas and curated by Rubina Romanelli.
And again the “horizontal exhibition” of The Wall project (site-specific exhibition format that proposes the synthesis and visual processing typical of the infographic developed along a 12-meter wall), which for the second consecutive appointment is entitled Sustainable Thinking Evolution and is curated by Mario Cucinella Architects and SOS – School of Sustainability.
In the afternoon the Museum also offers an activity, by reservation, dedicated to the temporary exhibition on drawing in the twentieth century:

During the twentieth century, the traditional drawing technique opened up to multiple trajectories, which experienced its infinite linguistic and expressive possibilities. The exhibition displays drawings by great artists spanning the twentieth century – from Telemaco Signorini to Amedeo Modigliani, from Giorgio de Chirico to Filippo de Pisis, from Renato Guttuso to Mario Sironi – with exceptional presences signed by Gustav Klimt, Oskcar Kokoschka, Egon Schiele, Otto Dix , George Grosz or Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. After a short tour of the exhibition, the public will be invited to take a pencil in hand and work, in an absolutely free and personal way, in front of one of the drawings on display: an opportunity to experience a new way of looking at the work of art. and recover a manual dimension forgotten by most of us.
