Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 December Florence turns into a great stage for the third edition of Strings City, widespread festival dedicated to stringed instruments. The articulated program ranges from classical music to contemporary jazz, including strings, pianos, harps, guitars and extraordinary voices.

Strings City is an initiative of the Municipality of Florence curated by Tommaso Sacchi, by the Fiesole Music School, with Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Orchestra of Tuscany, with the participation of Amici della Musica Firenze and Chamber Orchestra Fiorentina and with the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra and Tempo Reale Foundation, the contribution of the Metropolitan City of Florence, the support of the CR Firenze Foundation and of SIAE – Italian Society of Authors and Publishers, the support of Trenitalia, the media partnership of Rai Radio Classica and the collaboration of New York Film Academy.

As part of the third edition of the festival, the Museo Novecento hosts a musical moment dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, curated by the Fiesole School of Music. Below is the program:
