Where and when

On December 17, for the whole day, the museum exceptionally becomes meeting place of the Scuola founded in 2017 by Luigi Presicce and Francesco Lauretta and today meeting point for artists and not.

Exceptionally, Museo Novecento will welcome inside its walls an exceptional artistic experience: special guest – for the whole day – will be Scuola di Santa Rosa, free design school open to the participation to all.

Spontaneously born, open air, on the bank of the Arno called – in fact – Santa Rosa, the School was founded in October 2017 by artists Luigi Presicce and Francesco Lauretta and in short has become a meeting place, out of the ordinary, for young and old, artists and not. The usual meeting point of the school, where everyone can follow the “lessons” free, is the Santa Rosa Bistrot every Tuesday, in the morning only, sometimes in the late afternoon. Occasionally it reunites at Sel Rose in New York City. But it has spread in other cities: Lecce, Rome, Milan, Corigliano Calabro.

This Tuesday, instead, an exception will be made: to host its students will be the Museo with the Artistic Diector Sergio Risaliti. To those who study at it, Scuola di Santa Rosa represents an immersion for some hours in a time different from everyday, stress and worries free, where people can share with other beauty and amazement. It’s a place to think, educate interal beauty, learn to breathe and to feel good. And where life drawings bloom that are like ‘small miracles’.

Scuola di Santa Rosa will be at Museo Novecento from 11a.m to 4p.m. Free admission until seats are available.
