“Europe for Citizens” Program
The conference aims to illustrate the EU Action “European Heritage Mark” and the Calls of the “Europe for Citizens” Program. The “European Heritage Label” Action is an EU initiative aimed at selecting sites that have played a crucial role in European culture and history, characterized by a strong symbolic value, which goes beyond national borders. The “Europe for Citizens” Program offers grants to support projects of a transnational nature, characterized by a pronounced European dimension, which invite reflection on recent European history or which promote the debate on the future of the European Union, on Euroscepticism, on the integration of migrants, on the concept of solidarity in times of crisis, with the aim of bringing European citizens closer to the Union itself.
